Her fail-safe formula for throwing a great party is a lesson I've valued my whole adult life. I've been thinking about this a lot as Dubai's hospitality scene comes alive again after the summer lull, each venue back in action and ready to showcase its own version of the perfect recipe for a successful soirée.
But it's not just old favourites coming back to life as we welcome the return of the winter months. With the changing seasons comes a slew of new venues, each one preparing to present its amalgam of gourmet cuisine, master mixology and dazzling entertainment. However, all promise to delight and excite whether your dream day out is long, lazy lunch reminiscent of hazy afternoons on the Italian Riviera, or you plan the perfect date night around restaurant-hopping between DIFC's sleekest new additions.
As well as keeping you well-fed, we've got a treat for the eyes and ears, as we bring you all the concerts and shows Dubai has to offer between now and the end of 2022. Whether you're into R&B, rock, or retro Abba tunes, you won't be disappointed. There are also incredible sporting events and experiences happening around town that we're sure you won't want to miss. They range from the city-wide Dubai Fitness Challenge, to a water-based circus show and a mind-blowing Dhs5,000-per-seat dining experience.
There really is no excuse to stay in.
