… they never really cool off. The same blanket of sultry humidity that engulfs the city by day sticks around for the after party, only this time it's joined by a circus of neon lights and bars that close way past my bedtime (I'm in bed by nine so I've not seen said circus – I'm merely going by what Alice and Elise tell me). While the days in Dubai might be hot, hot, hot, the nights are just as scorching. A hot, sticky, anything-can-happen playground for the adventurous.
A night that starts with a moonlit swim at Aura somehow finds you sipping cocktails in new speakeasy in Downtown Dubai. Or what began as dinner and a show in Taikun could turn into an all-out rave in a new club in JVC.
Of course, our city has grown up from its party-till-you-die reputation, and while you can definitely still have your rage-till-the-early-hours nights, you can also (safely) walk on the edge of a skyscraper, slide your way around a moonlit waterpark, or eat a five-star dinner at midnight. Whatever your flavour, Dubai has it for you.
Enjoy the issue..
