| The Dubai Palm Island & Dubai Jobs As promised, attached is a presentation of the Palm Islands in Jumeirah. This presentation is a compilation of mind blowing images taken from one of the villas recently purchased on the man-made Palm island. If you have not been keeping up, Dubai is not a big city. However it is on shore side as it is a penninsula that sticks out over the water. So since territories are defined by borders, Dubai decided to expand its city by building land on water. Yes - they have successfully been able to do this and will continue to. Expect to see the land mass (size) of Dubai increase over time. Why you may ask? Well more and more companies are moving to set up a presence in Dubai to tap into the wealth of the people living there. Economy and life in general has been bomming relative to the past and companies have recognized this. There is a growing need for goods and services in this part of the world. As a result of companies moving in, more job positions are opening and more people are moving to work in Dubai. Why would someone work in Dubai? Dubai employers not only pay an average of 30% more than the western world, but the government in Dubai does not tax income either! Yes- ZERO income tax. So if you are making $120,000 in the USA, not only will you get a raise to make $150,000+ in Dubai, but you get to keep all of it. In the USA, if you made 120k, you only take home around $84,000. If you made $150k, you'd take home only $105k. HUGE DIFFERENCE ISN'T IT? Wait till you hear about the perks and benefits of working in Dubai.
